I haven’t been able to buy music cds these past few months because I got lazy and instead I bought tons of dvds and books. The last cds that I’ve bought are Sino Sikat’s album and Norah Jones’ 2nd album. This was almost 2 months ago and I’ve been itching to buy new ones. I’ve been meaning to buy Pedicab, Death Cab for Cutie, The Fray, and Michael Buble’s 3rd album but I keep on buying other things instead whenever I go out. But for The Itchyworms’ 3rd album, I can’t miss buying that one pronto.
My creative zen (I dont have an IPod sorry) has loads of pinoy songs, pinoy bands in particular. And these are just some of my favorite songs.
Itchyworms’ Akin Ka Na Lang. This is my super favorite ‘ligaw’ song since Eheads’ Ligaya. I just can’t get over the witty lyrics of this one!
Sino Sikat’s Turning My Safety Off. I’m not too crazy about the video but I love this song so much.
Chilitees’ Ikaw. I just love Uela Basco’s voice, plus their album is really, really cool.
Kala’s Jeepney. Manila High is one of the best funky/pop albums I’ve heard since POT. Most people try and compare these two bands, but I say don’t. They may sound the same, but they don’t.
Up Dharma Down’s Pag-agos. Actually, I love their entire album, especially OO and Malikmata.
